The Life-Saving Hug

This and other sites like it were created from stories I used to tell my children when they were young. One of the stories tells how a young, strong potato bug (rolley polley)rescued his old friend by hugging him when a spider came. You see, the older bug couldn't roll up in a ball, like most rolley polley's can.

We can all rescue our friends, family, and community when we watch out for them, instead of ourselves.

This blog will be full of examples, experiences, and stories of how we can make big differences in other people's lives simply by caring.
